Our Providers

Jen Moore grew up in central Massachusetts as the oldest of three girls. She always loved taking care of children, starting with babysitting neighbors, working at an after-school program, and lifeguarding at the YMCA. She became passionate about going to college to study nursing, knowing that she could take her love of children into a lifelong career. 

Jen went to the University of Massachusetts Amherst for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. As a new graduate nurse, she was hired at Boston Medical Center in the Neonatal ICU. She LOVED taking care of premature and sick newborns for 8 years, but decided to go back for her Masters in order to further pursue her love of pediatrics. She graduated from Mass General Institute of Health Professions as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. 

She started at MV Pediatrics in 2019 as a Nurse Practitioner and taking care of patients on the South Shore. She managed her own panel of patients for the last 4 years, seeing well and sick children until MV Pediatrics unfortunately closed in August 2023. As much as she will miss her patients at MV Pediatrics, she was fortunate enough to be invited to work at Beacon and is looking forward to helping this wonderful team get their practice started.

Jen lives in Plymouth with her husband and three children. She enjoys walking their dog Hayden on the beach, training for half marathons with her husband (no full marathons yet!), baking, and listening to music (although mostly Disney music with the kids right now).
