Jeremy Warhaftig, MD
Dr. Jeremy Warhaftig grew up in New York City. As a child, he always enjoyed his visits with his pediatrician. This relationship strongly impacted his interest in medicine and pediatrics in particular.
After graduating from Dartmouth College, Dr. Warhaftig attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency training in Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is board certified in Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Prior to joining Beacon Pediatrics, Dr. Warhaftig was a pediatrician for 22 years at South Shore Medical Center, and he served as Chief of the Department of Pediatrics for 14 of those years.
Dr. Warhaftig is passionate about taking care of kids and their families and enjoys seeing them grow and thrive. He finds it a privilege to collaborate with parents to keep their kids healthy and help them work through medical challenges when they arise.
Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, skiing, tennis, guitar, travel, reading historical fiction, and spending time with his family. He loves living on the South Shore and taking advantage of all that it has to offer.
